Craftsman Lt1000 6 speed lawnmower problem.?

My Lt1000 will start, run FLAWLESSLY, and go into gear, however, when I depress the clutch, it will not move. at all. When I rock it back and forth in gear, it locks, like it should, however it does the same thing when the engine is running. Almost like the clutch isn't connected. None of the gears will move the mower, not even reverse. I tried with the blade on too, just to try. I haven't done anything except pump up the tire. What could it be? I hope it's just a bad connection because I can't buy any replacement parts right now. Thanks in advance for your help.
